🚀 Getting Started

Download the Leash Ladies app and sign up using your email and a secure password. During sign-up, you'll choose your primary role: Pet Owner or Walker. Don't worry, you can always update your preferences later!

Setting Up Your Profile

Once signed in, you'll be prompted to complete your profile. This helps us personalize your experience.

• Common Info: Your full name and a profile photo.
• Owners: Provide your city, neighborhood, and an emergency contact.
• Walkers: Write a bio, set your hourly rate, and provide background check consent.

🐾 For Pet Owners

Managing Your Pets

Your pets are at the heart of Leash Ladies! Navigate to your Home screen and tap Manage in the "Your Pets" section. Add a new pet by tapping Add Pet Profile.

Important: Add health information like allergies, medications, and your vet's contact info to ensure your walker has everything they need.

Booking a Service

Tap Book a Service on your home screen and choose from our premium services like Walks (30/60 min), Drop-ins, Daycare, and Boarding. Select your pet, choose a date, and find an elite walker.

Tracking & Payments

Receive real-time notifications when a walker accepts your request, starts the service, and completes it. Payments are processed securely via Stripe when the service is finished. Don't forget to tip and review your walker!

Completing Your Profile

To start receiving requests, ensure your profile is 100% complete by choosing your services, setting specific pricing, and listing your ZIP coverage area.

Managing Availability

Set your weekly schedule in the Availability section. Toggling "Available Now" puts you on the map for on-demand requests in your area.

Mandatory Stripe Payouts

To be listed as "Available" and receive booking requests, you must complete your Stripe Express setup. This ensures secure, automated payouts directly to your bank account.

How to Set Up Payouts (Stripe Express)

1. Initiate Setup: Look for the Stripe Payouts banner on your Home screen and tap Set up payouts.
2. Stripe Secure Onboarding: You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe-hosted page. You will need to provide your personal info (name, birthdate), professional details, and verify your identity for safety.
3. Connect Your Bank: Enter your bank account details or a debit card for direct deposits.
4. Finalize & Sync: Once finished on Stripe's site, return to the Leash Ladies app and tap Sync status on the Payouts banner.
5. Go Live: Once synced and verified, you can toggle your availability and appearing in owner searches!
6. Manage Funds: Use the View Dashboard button any time to see your balance and transfers.

📱 Universal Features

Messaging & Chat

Effective communication ensures the best care for your pet!

• How to Access: Tap the Messages icon in the navigation bar or open any booking to find the Message button.
• Real-Time Updates: Get instant notifications and see when your messages are read.
• Photo Sharing: Share snapshots and updates directly through the chat thread.

Video Chat (LWL Live)

Connect face-to-face with your walker for total peace of mind!

• Availability: Video calls can be started once a booking is Accepted or In-Progress.
• Starting a Call: Open your booking details and tap the Video Camera icon. The other party will be notified instantly.
• Call Details: Enjoy high-quality, encrypted video check-ins. Calls are designed for quick 5-minute updates.
• Privacy: All connections are temporary and encrypted, ensuring your security.

Notifications & Profile

• Stay Updated: Keep push notifications enabled for booking alerts and new messages.
• Manage Profile: Tap the Paw Icon to update your info, payment methods, and role settings.
